Home Based Instruction

Our Home Education Model offers a unique opportunity for students to receive a high-quality, biblically-based education from the comfort of their homes. Students are enrolled at Olive Grove Christian School and learn under the guidance of their parents, with the support of trained tutors provided by the school.

This program ensures that each child receives personalized, faith-driven instruction, while still meeting all academic and legal requirements set by the state of Pennsylvania. Olive Grove Christian School oversees the curriculum, attendance, and reporting to the local school district, while parents facilitate day-to-day learning.

This flexible, supportive approach to education allows families to embrace both the rigor of academic excellence and the nurturing environment of home learning. This program is intended for students who have unique needs or circumstances that make traditional in-person schooling challenging.

Participation in the OGCS home-based instruction model is not automatic and requires an application to be filled out by the parent or guardian. Applications will be reviewed by the school administrator, and approval will be granted on a case-by-case basis.
